Just read your post on warhammer forums about how they could improve the game. What you need to do is go and actually be part of a development team. Your ideas make complete fucking sense. Open battles are for individuals. Keeps for guilds, areas around keeps to improve keeps (duh?), zones benefit the realm, scenarios for fun... all makes sense man. peace.

I like the ideas and have thought about such a set-up myself. The only things I might tweek is to make the 'guild' stuff more 'alliance' focused. One thing i really didn't like about WOW compared to DaoC was that you had to belong to a 'power guild' to enjoy content. I personally like being able to quickly jump into 'pugs' and have fun doing stuff. If it becomes too guild centric, then it will be all about being in the 'leet' group and shut out of being able to enjoy things like keep raids.

Diminishing returns from open rvr won't dissappear. They prevent people from arranging to farm each other for easy xp.

That all sounds awesome as long as we don't see insanely boring ORvR zerg standoffs like we're seeing during the Halloween event. Granted, this event isn't utilizing keeps at all, so it's kind of a design issue.
